Red Watch Security Recognised as a Disability Confident Committed Employer

Published on 18 August 2025 at 12:56

We are proud to announce that Red Watch Security Ltd has officially certified as a Disability Confident Committed Employer (DCS047357), valid from 18 August 2025 to 14 August 2028. This recognition reflects our dedication to building a workplace this is inclusive, fair and accessible for everyone.

The UK Government's Disability Confident scheme encourages employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop people with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

By joining this scheme, Red Watch Security is reinforcing our commitment to providing equal opportunities and breaking down barriers in employment.

Our Commitments as a Disability Confident Employer

As part of our certification, we have pledged to:

  • Inclusive Recruitment: Ensuring our recruitment process is open, fair and accessible to all.
  • Promoting Opportunities: Communicating and promoting our vacancies widely to attract diverse talent.
  • Fair Interviews: Guaranteeing an interview for disabled people who meet the minimum criteria for a role.
  • Reasonable Adjustments: Anticipating and providing necessary adjustments to support applicants and employees.
  • Ongoing Support: Supporting existing employees who may acquire a disability or long-term health condition, enabling them to remain in meaningful employment.
  • Making a Difference: Taking practical actions that create real, positive change for disabled people in the workplace and beyond.

Why This Matters

At Red Watch Security, we know that a diverse and inclusive team makes us stronger. By recognising and supporting the talents of disabled people, we not only provide opportunities for individuals to thrive, but we also enhance the skills, resilience and capability of our organisation.

Our Disability Confident status also reassures our clients and partners that we are committed to the highest standards of equality, fairness and social responsibility. This aligns with our wider values or professionalism, integrity and community impact.

Looking Ahead

Becoming Disability Confident Committed is just the first step. Over the next three years, we will continue to review our practices, introduce new initiatives, and build on our progress to ensure that Red Watch Security remains a truly inclusive employer.

We encourage other organisations to join the Disability Confident Scheme and play their part in creating a more inclusive society where everyone has the chance to succeed.
